Glen is from New Hope, Minnesota and has been married to LeeAnn for 20 years. Their grandson, Daniel is 13 years old and lives with them.
Currently Glen's day job is as an Independent Driver for a Contract Delivery Business, which he uses to disguise his real mission in life, of reaching the lost for Christ.
Glen worked housing construction for nearly 20 years and severely injured his back in a fall. The resulting back injury caused him to lose his job. After many months of rehabilitation and therapy Glen was still not ready to go back to work. Then two years later God healed his back at a Promise Keepers Convention in Denver.
God then led Glen to join his wife LeeAnn, in puppet ministry. Shortly after God fulfilled a dream Glen had of going to South Africa. Glen's first trip to South Africa was January 2003. He worked building the church in Hammarsdale, South Africa and introduced his Puppet Ministry. Glen returned to South Africa in 2004 and 2006 working on the Mdantsane Church and expanding his Puppet Ministry to HIV/AIDS Orphans and others as God leads.
This will be Glen's fourth time ministering in South Africa. The Puppet Ministry is scheduled to grow ten fold over 2006 as God has opened many new doors. God is using Glen in a special way to touch the lives of people who otherwise are considered unclean and untouchable. The love Glen generates through the Ministry of his Puppets transcends all stigmas and delivers the Good News of the Lord Jesus Christ to those who need it most.
Glen claims the following scripture as he continually is obedient to the call God has placed on his life.
Mark16:15-20
And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.” When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs.
