1/15/06 - Mdantsane --- The Third Year
Our third year in Mdantsane and we'll add the top half of the concrete blocks.

This is the first year for the Shepherd Staff Puppet Gang put together by Glen Huff of New Hope, Minnesota. In Cyber Daily Devotion we ran a contest to name the pupets and the winners were:

Glen's main puppet is George.
We used the puppets throughout South Africa and ministered to hundreds of HIV/AIDS orphans and patients.
Here we are ministering to a church in Soshanguwe, South Africa which is just North of Pretoria. The church building was way too small for the crowd so we met out doors.
Meet Esther Lourens from Pretoria, South Africa. Esther and her husband Johan work in many communities to help small churches prosper. Her Esther is blowing up some baloons we brought as a gift to each child.
Johan and Esther were so enthusiastic about the puppets that after our presentation Glen Huff gave them a set for future ministry in the communities they serve.
Here is the Shepherd Staff Gang in action. We are ministering at the HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis (SANTA) hospital in Sprigs, South Africa which is just East of Johannesburg.

Sunday morning in Mdantsane Pastor Carol preached on forgiveness --- then prayed and anointed all with oil.
Here Glen prepares for the Shepherd Staff Puppet Gang presentation. He is blowing up an abundance of baloons for the children. It is unbelieveable how something as small and insignifcant as a baloon can bring such joy to the faces of the children.
Small white Xhosa Bibles were donated by a large church in East London and we had the privledge of passing them out to eager hands.
